Office of Professional Integration Assistance
The mission of the Office for Career Integration (BAIP) isto support and prepare students and recent graduates of the University of Montpellier for entry into the workforce. To help all students, starting in their first year, successfully transition into the workforce, the office offers a wide range of services designed to:
- to acquire theappropriatemethodology andmindset
- to discover theessential tools
- to build a network
- and to take advantage of various job opportunities.
Our services:
– The BAIP organizes several events (University Job Fair, “5 Minutes to Convince” Competition, Work-Study Program Fair, Career Integration Meetings) in collaboration with faculties, schools, and institutes, as well as key employment stakeholders.
– Each year, it offers programs (the MAIP Campaign) to support program directors in implementing and funding initiatives that promote their students’ career integration.
– The BAIP also hosts students for individual interviews and group workshops to support them in their search for internships and jobs throughout the year.
– The BAIP manages the ResUM platform, the University of Montpellier’s Professional Network, which serves as the University of Montpellier’s alumni network and facilitates the management of internship and job postings for each program.
Following the audit conducted by AFNOR on June 9, 2023, the BAIP received ISO 9001 certification for the quality of its process for supporting students’ transition into the workforce.
Career transition support stands out for its innovative approach to service delivery, which enhances the visibility of programs and students to facilitate their transition into the workforce. The process ensures the most effective management of a wide range of individual and group services.
