The mission of the Bureau d'Aide à l'Insertion Professionnelle (BAIP) is tosupport and prepare students and recent graduates of the University of Montpellier for their professional integration. From the 1st year onwards, it offers all students a wide range of services to help them successfully enter the world of work:
- acquire the right methodology and posture
- discover the essential tools
- build a network
- and seize various employment opportunities.
Our services:
- The BAIP organizes several events (University Employment Forum, 5 minutes to convince competition, Forum Alternance, Rencontres de l'Insertion Professionnelle) in collaboration with faculties, schools and institutes, as well as the main players in the employment market.
- Each year, it offers a number of programs (MAIP Campaign) to help program managers set up and finance initiatives to help their students enter the job market.
- The BAIP also welcomes students for individual interviews and group workshops to help them find internships and jobs throughout the year.
- The BAIP administers the ResUMplatform, the Professional Network of the University of Montpellier, which constitutes the alumni network of the University of Montpellier and enables the management of internship and job offers for each course.
Following the audit carried out by AFNOR on June 9, 2023, the BAIP was awarded ISO 9001 certification for the quality of its process to support students' professional integration.
One of the distinguishing features of the job placement support service is its ability to innovate in terms of the services it offers, thereby raising the profile of the programs and students involved. The process ensures optimized processing of multiple individual and collective service offerings.
