To help students build their career plans and successfully enter the workforce, the Bureau d'Aide à l'Insertion Professionnelle (BAIP) organizes a wide range of activities.
What are our missions?
- To support and prepare students and young graduates for their professional integration.
- The BAIP organizes several events (University Employment Forum, 5 minutes to convince competition, Alumni Day) in collaboration with faculties, schools and institutes and the main players in the employment arena.
- Each year, it offers a number of programs (MAIP campaign) to help course directors set up and finance initiatives to help their students enter the job market.
- The BAIP also welcomes students for individual interviews and themed group workshops to help them find internships and jobs throughout the year.
- The BAIP administers the ResUMplatform, the Professional Network of the University of Montpellier, which constitutes the alumni network of the University of Montpellier and enables the management of internship and job offers for each course.
Following the audit carried out by AFNOR on June 9, 2023, the BAIP was awarded ISO 9001 certification for the quality of its process to support students' professional integration.

Semester planning and online booking make it easy to organize and manage requests efficiently. Careful monitoring of the suitability and consistency of requests is in place, guaranteeing an adequate response to students' needs. The process includes a proliferation of events to promote the schemes and professional integration, such as the Transition to Employment day for young graduates, the University Enterprise Forum, round tables, as well as the "5 minutes to convince" competition, which rewards the best presentations of professional projects."
