Objectives :

After a long academic career, entering the job market can sometimes be confusing for PhD students. The objective of this workshop is to identify the difficulties of professional integration specific to doctoral students, real or felt, in order to be able to bypass them in an effective job search.

This workshop focuses on the job market “outside of academic research” with the identification of potential employers and the communication with recruiters through the CV.


  • Define your job search strategy :
    • Identify the different steps of the job search process

    • Knowing how to organize yourself for an effective search

    • Personal assessment: take stock of your skills (personal work between sessions)


  •     Identify one’s skills to better develop one’s profile:

    • Identify your skills (feedback on the individual intersession work)

    • Present and value your experiences and skills

    • Synthesis of the skills developed by the doctors
  • Learn the methodology for writing a CV :
    • Distance learning and face-to-face + personalized follow-up!

    • What should it contain? (content and form)
    • Specificities of an academic CV and a CV for the “classic” job market
